Arura ReLaunch

Friday 25th November. Over 100 young people descended on Crescent Church in Belfast for an evening of record breaking!

Timmy and Alice Ewart (Woodford) and a team of volunteers from several churches provided a range of activities all with the one aim: set a new record. There were speed puzzles, shooting games, water bottle flips, eating challenges… there was something for everyone to try! Kudos to those who won prizes on the evening!

Following the Recordbreaking activities, everyone came together for awhile with Ellie Johnston and Jamie Gamble (Scrabo) hosting the evening. There was a brilliant time of praise led by Curtis Montgomery (Scrabo) and musicians from other churches, while Dave Wilson (Greenisland Baptist) shared about the Arura Weekender in March 2023.

Stevie Walls (Castlereagh Community Church) then shared a challenge with us from 2 Chronicles 20:1-29 when Jehoshaphat and the people were under attack from other nations. The message was clear: God is someone we can trust, and who will fight for us. The battle is not ours, but His!

After that there was an opportunity catch up with others as we enjoyed some quality hot dogs!
