Arura requires volunteers to make it happen. Whether you join as a leader and take responsibility for a small group of young people, or join as a worker and ensure camp runs as smoothly as possible, there is a place for you at Arura!

Arura is committed to ensuring the safety of the young people who attend our events. Therefore, all volunteers undergo an Enhanced Disclosure check, carried out by Access NI. If you have undergone a check within the last 12 months, you can provide your Access NI number and forward a photocopy of your certificate to the Arura office. If you have not, you will be required to undergo a check before you can participate in Arura.

Cost

The cost of Arura is £200 per person with a £20 discount per person for families with more than one member attending. The costs of Arura for young people are kept to a minimum because volunteers also pay full price. This price includes full board and accommodation, and you will be accommodated in classrooms on site.

If you are applying to be a worker, you may choose to stay offsite and find your own accommodation. If staying offsite, there is a reduced cost for Arura of £100.

A £20 deposit will confirm your registration, with full payment due by 30th June 2024.
